Introduction

Reference was made to Gogarth in 1638 when a special commission was issued from his Majesty's Court of Exchequer, to report uplands gained from the sea along the Welsh Coast . Buildings have reference on them to being built around 1747. Situated of the A493 it commands magnificent panoramic views of the Dovey Estuary, enticing guests to the hills of Pengarreg and up to Mynydd-y-Llyn or Bearded Lake which figures prominently in Welsh Folklore.

Situated within Snowdonia National Park in a peaceful part of Mid Wales, Gogarth Halll Farm offers peace and tranquillity that is rich in wild life and a haven for rare birds.

Ron, Deilwen and family run a traditional working farm of cattle and sheep. In 1990 they diversified into Tourism when they converted stables into a luxury accommodation. Now, they offer four self-catering cottages that are uniquely different. Guests are welcome to walk the farm to see the animals and the wonderful views of the Welsh countryside.
